IT Manager /Senior System Administrator - Maryland R&D Center
This position is responsible for installing and maintaining company’s enterprise infrastructure including Active Directory, data backup, email, production servers and an extensive virtualization infrastructure. We are seeking a proven Senior Systems Administrator with a strong technical foundation and a demonstrated ability to design and support sophisticated network infrastructure and manage systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.Manage and maintain on premise as well as Azure Active directory and Group Policy. Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary.Manage and maintain network accessibility options including virtual private networks, remote desktop access gateway, and secure wireless networking.Perform regular security monitoring to identify and mitigate any possible security-related issues. Propose changes to increase security, efficiency, cost savings, or any other positive outcome.Police all IT policies and ensure user and corporate adherence.Provide technical support for phones, computer hardware, and software issues for all users. Create, change, and delete user accounts per corporate procedures.Work together with the Information Security team to maintain a secure environment.Work with the IT Team to manage and maintain authentication and external identity provider solutions.Maintain technical documentation for supported systems.Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to junior team members.Assist in managing vendor relationships and costs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Engineering, or other analytical disciplines or equivalent work experience.Demonstrated leadership in IT project management. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support servicing and maintaining Windows Servers and Microsoft 365 environmentStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team member)Ability to communicate in Mandarin and English verbally and in writing.Working knowledge and experience with Active Directory and cloud technologies, Azure preferredProficient in the configuration of mainstream products of routers, firewalls, VLAN and ***, and Bastion Host;Be able to use professional tools to manage and monitor networks. CCNP and other related network certificates are preferred.Familiar with operations and managements of a data center, and know professional tools for monitoring server and network performance.Proficient in WINDOWS and LINUX, VMWARE deployment, configuration and management, load balancing configuration and managementBe able to independently complete assigned tasks of configuration and operation of above mentioned network devices.
